In hat design, embroidery is frequently used and popular among the public. A piece of delicate and beautiful piece of embroidery can greatly enhance the value of the hat, enhance its style and grade.Since the development of hat embroidery, various styles have emerged, and different embroidery styles use different embroidery methods.The overall process flow is as follows: first, a professional designer must design the corresponding patterns or logos on the computer, and then workshop technicians can use embroidery machines or manual sewing methods to complete embroidery on the fabric.Secondly, the workers responsible for cutting tasks cut and modify the embroidered fabric, and then carry out corresponding follow-up operations according to different embroidery types in order to successfully produce embroidered fabrics that meet the standards.

1.Flat embroidery
Flat embroidery is a straight line embroidery method that emphasizes "flat, even, smooth, and neat", and is the most widely used embroidery in embroidery.The starting and ending of each stitch should be uniform and flat, and the length should be the same.Flat embroidery should be done in a delicate and dense manner, without exposing the base fabric or exceeding the contour line.This embroidery method has clear and vivid color layers, but it is difficult to express the effect of gradient.
Flat embroidery can also be divided into jumping stitch embroidery, walking stitch embroidery, and tatami embroidery.
- Jump stitch embroidery is mainly used for LOGO and other simple fonts and patterns;
- Walking stitch embroidery is used for patterns with small text and patterns;
- Tatami embroidery is mainly used for larger and more delicate patterns.

2.3D embroidery
3D embroidery is a three-dimensional pattern formed by wrapping EVA glue inside the embroidery thread, which can be produced by a regular flat embroidery machine.EVA adhesive has different thicknesses, hardness, and colors, and the thickness is generally within the range of 3-5mm between the presser foot and the fabric.

3.Thick thread embroidery
Thick thread embroidery is the use of thicker sewing thread as embroidery thread,with large hole needles or large-sized needles, thick thread rotary shuttles, and 3mm needle plates to complete embroidery. It can be produced by ordinary flat embroidery machines.

4.Hollow three-dimensional embroidery
Hollow three-dimensional embroidery can be produced using a regular flat embroidery machine,which is the use of styrofoam similar to three-dimensional embroidery. After embroidery is completed, the foam glue is washed off with a dry cleaning machine to form a central hollow.The surface of the styrofoam is smooth, usually with a thickness of 1-5mm.
Features of the embroidery process:
- It can reflect the gentle embroidery that three-dimensional embroidery cannot.
- With a three-dimensional sense, it can highlight the depth and luster of the color.
- For stretchable and delicate fabrics, it can not damage the original texture of the fabric and reflect a soft effect.

5.Flat gold thread embroidery
Flat gold thread can be produced by using a regular flat embroidery machine. As flat gold thread is a flat embroidery thread, a flat gold thread device needs to be installed, which can be installed on any needle rod.

6.Flocking embroidery
Flocking embroidery can be produced on ordinary flat embroidery machine, but it needs to be installed with flocking needles. The embroidery principle is to use the hooks on the flocking needles to pick up the fiber velvet on the velvet fabric and plant it on another fabric.

7.Applique embroidery
Applique embroidery refers to embroidering another layer of fabric on the original fabric, adding a three-dimensional or staggered effect. It can be used for edge embroidery or applique hollow embroidery.
Scope of process suitability and precautions:
The properties of the two types of fabric used for applique embroidery should not be too different;
The edges of the applique embroidery need to be trimmed;
Fabric with large elasticity or insufficient density is easy to appear loose and uneven after embroidery.

8.Sequin embroidery and bead embroidery
Specify beads of the same shape and size to be strung together into a rope material, and then embroider on a flat embroidery machine that has already been equipped with a bead embroidery device.The bead embroidery device can be installed in the first or last stitch of the specified machine head to carry out novel bead embroidery.

9.Toothbrush embroidery
Toothbrush embroidery is also called vertical line embroidery, can be produced in the ordinary flat embroidery machine. The embroidery method is the same as 3D embroidery, but after embroidery, a part of the film needs to be cut off, and all the film needs to be taken away, so that the embroidery thread naturally stands up.

10.Carved hole embroidery
The carving hole embroidery can be produced in the ordinary flat embroidery machine, but the carving hole embroidery device needs to be installed, which is to use the carving hole knife to carve through the fabric, and then wrap the embroidery thread to form a hole in the middle.
Scope and precautions for craftsmanship:
High fabric density is required, and fabrics with sparse or insufficient density should not be hollowed out for embroidery, as they are prone to loose seams and embroidery edges falling off. For example, 75D chiffon fabric.

11.Chain embroidery
It is made of the whole lock set of embroidery thread ring, and the embroidery effect is like a chain, so it is called chain needle.

12.Towel embroidery
As the name suggests, the effect is very similar to towel fabric, and with different product requirements, the embroidery method of towel embroidery emerges in an endless stream. The computerized towel embroidery machine can embroider any flower shape and color, and the embroidered patterns have characteristics such as layering, novelty, and strong 3D sense, which are widely welcomed by consumers and designers.

13.Serrated embroidery
The sawtooth embroidery technique is achieved by swinging the sawtooth embroidery device left and right, which uses serrated needles with left and right locking needles for materials.There are a total of 6 embroidery needle methods to choose from,which can be easily embroidered on creative threads such as thickness changes and materials that cannot be embroidered directly with needles.
